ActiveColumnIndex Property (SheetView)

Gets or sets the column index of the active cell on the sheet.
Syntax

instance.ActiveColumnIndex = value
 
value = instance.ActiveColumnIndex

Property Value

Integer column index of the active column
Remarks
This property is available at run time only. Columns or rows that do not exist can not be active. This property returns -1 or null if there is no active column.
Example
This example illustrates the use of this member by returning the index of the active column and active row.
fpSpread1.ActiveSheet.SetActiveCell(2, 2);
label1.Text = "The active column is " + fpSpread1.ActiveSheet.ActiveColumnIndex.ToString() + " and the active row is " + fpSpread1.ActiveSheet.ActiveRowIndex.ToString();
FpSpread1.ActiveSheet.SetActiveCell(2, 2)
Label1.Text = "The active column is " & FpSpread1.ActiveSheet.ActiveColumnIndex.ToString() & " and the active row is " & FpSpread1.ActiveSheet.ActiveRowIndex.ToString()
