AutoUpdateNotes Property
Example

Gets or sets whether cell notes are automatically updated when changes are made to the note style or to the text, or notes are added, removed, or moved.
Syntax
'Declaration

Public Property AutoUpdateNotes As Boolean
'Usage

Dim instance As SheetView
Dim value As Boolean

instance.AutoUpdateNotes = value

value = instance.AutoUpdateNotes
public bool AutoUpdateNotes {get; set;}

Property Value

Boolean: true if the Spread component updates the location and appearance of notes automatically; false otherwise
Remarks

This property gets or sets whether the Spread component updates the location and appearance of notes when handling event notifications generated by changes made to the component. Use the UpdateNotes methods to tell the component to update the location and appearance of notes after having turned off automatic updates with AutoUpdateNotes. These members can be used together to make code that loops through lots of ranges of cells and sets properties much faster by eliminating redundant updates of the cell notes, especially if there are lots of rows in the sheet or lots of cell notes or both.

By default, this property is set to true which causes the loading of the XML to be slow. The Spread Designer sets this property to false during the loading of the XML file.

Example
This example updates notes on the sheet when they change.
fpSpread1.ActiveSheet.AutoUpdateNotes = true;
FpSpread1.ActiveSheet.AutoUpdateNotes = True
