    Hi,

    I’m using winforms spread7.0.I was not able to find the solution for tooltip data of spread column value ,once hover on that.

    In spread Suppose i have 200 characters of column value . when i hover on the cell value it does not show all the characters .Instead only 40-50 characters show up as tooltip. These are the below trials i did to solve the issue.

    1)used setText() method for assigning the text of that column value.
    2) made TextTippolicy of spread floating.

    3) Added TextipFetch event and done setting as below
    e.showtip=true;
    e.Wraptext=true;
    e.TextWidth=1500;

    still no luck. the characters after 50 does not show up in tooltip .can any tell me what went wrong and how can i acheive

    Hi,

    I used this code with V10 and it worked fine:

    private void Form1_Load(object sender, EventArgs e)
            {
                fpSpread1.Sheets[0].SetText(1, 1, "1111111111112222222222jjjjjjjjjjwwwwwwwwwwvvvvvvvvvvmmmmmmmmmmaaaaaaaaaa1111111111112222222222jjjjjjjjjjwwwwwwwwwwvvvvvvvvvvmmmmmmmmmmaaaaaaaaaa1111111111112222222222jjjjjjjjjjwwwwwwwwwwvvvvvvvvvvmmmmmmmmmmaaaaaaaaaa");
                fpSpread1.TextTipPolicy = FarPoint.Win.Spread.TextTipPolicy.Floating;
    }

    private void fpSpread1_TextTipFetch(object sender, FarPoint.Win.Spread.TextTipFetchEventArgs e)
            {
                e.ShowTip  = true;
                e.WrapText = true;
                e.TipWidth = 1500;
            }

    Thanks, Gina
